X-VET starts: seven partners, 36 months, one goal
The Erasmus+ project helps VET institutions, educators and learners navigate the green and digital transitions.
X-VET — Integrated Sustainability Approach for the Effective Navigation of Emerging Critical Transformations (Green & Digital & Economic) — started on 1 November 2025. The project runs for 36 months and is co-funded by the European Union through Erasmus+.
Seven organisations from Germany, Austria, Croatia, Italy, Latvia, Slovakia and Serbia work together for the first time. They combine expertise in green skills, digital education, adult learning, entrepreneurship, sustainability education, certification and technical VET.
What X-VET will produce
- An Integrated Sustainability Workbook for VET institutions.
- A MOOC with three learning tracks for VET leaders, educators and learners.
- A Sustainability Hackathon Guide, a Training of Trainers programme and local hackathons.
- A certification system aligned with the European approach to micro-credentials.
The partners had already met online on 27 October 2025 for a pre-kick-off meeting. The first transnational partner meeting followed in Vienna in December 2025.
